You promise yourself "never again," and then it is 2 AM and you are back.
You clear your browser history every single time.
Your partner is starting to ask questions, or already knows.
Brain fog, anxiety, and shame follow you into work.
You installed a filter once and found a way around it within a week.
None of this means you are broken. Porn sites, games, and betting apps are built to hook you. Teams of behavior experts design them, and the algorithms never sleep.
Willpower against an algorithm is a losing fight. You need a different setup.
R.A.D.D. stands for Recovery from Addiction to Digital Devices. It is a private recovery coaching program for adults who struggle with porn, gaming, gambling, or screen use they can't control.
The program runs at least 12 sessions, which usually takes about 12 weeks. Everything happens online. You work one-on-one with John Winstanley, the founder of Digital Addiction Coach. John has been sober from his own digital addiction for more than 25 years.
R.A.D.D. is coaching, not therapy. It works on its own or alongside your therapist, pastor, or treatment team. You can choose a faith-based or non-faith version.
R.A.D.D. moves through three phases. When you finish, you join a long-term support group so your progress lasts.

Phase 1: Lock Down
First, we secure your devices and cut off the sources. We put filtering and accountability software on every device that can reach the internet. Then we map out what triggers you.
Phase 2: Skill Up
Next, you learn tools that stop a relapse before it starts. These come from CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness, and you use them in real moments. We also work on the brain fog, the anxiety, and the harsh voice in your head.
Phase 3: Move Forward
Then you build the life the addiction was crowding out. That means boundaries, goals, and giving your best to your relationships and your career again.
After you graduate: T.H.R.I.V.E.
You are invited to T.H.R.I.V.E., our long-term recovery group. It meets online multiple times a week, where the members hold each other accountable, discuss life, struggles, victories...all while enjoying friendship and comradery in a safe and confidential environment.
A personal recovery plan built around your triggers, your schedule, and your goals.
Weekly one-on-one coaching with John, four sessions a month.
Two open small-group sessions every week, for up to 3 hours of coaching a week when you need it.
Filtering and accountability software on all your key devices. We provide it, install it, and manage it, so there is nothing for you to set up.
24/7 encrypted text support, so you are not alone when a trigger hits at 2 AM.
Proven tools from CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness.
Your choice of faith-based or non-faith coaching.
An invitation to T.H.R.I.V.E. when you graduate.
Why R.A.D.D. works when other things did not:
John has been there:
John has been sober from his own digital addiction for more than 25 years. He is not reading from a textbook. He climbed out of the same hole you are in.
The tech handled for you:
Most programs hand you an app and wish you luck. We set up and manage every filter, so your energy goes into changing, not fixing software.
You get help between sessions
A weekly call can't help you at 2 AM, but encrypted text support can. You get help in the moment, not a week later. When you get those urges, John is only a text or call away. He is literally in your pocket 😁
It works with your therapist, sponsor, or doctor
Are you already seeing a therapist? Good. R.A.D.D. fills the gap between sessions. With your permission, we keep your therapist in the loop.
Results:
So far, 100% of clients who complete R.A.D.D. have succeeded. We also measure what changes on the inside. Every other week, a few clients are picked at random to take a Human Emotional Needs assessment. Two recent results:
Client C went from 4.44 to 8.33, up 87.5%. The biggest gains were in growth, contribution, and independence.
Client B went from 5.33 to 7.56, up 41.7%. The biggest gains were in security, feeling valued, and purpose.

"I was at the end of my rope. I had tried for 30 years! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I have been sober 3 weeks now. The mental clarity is amazing along with the emotional and spiritual freedom I feel. It isn't always easy, but it is totally worth it!"

Is R.A.D.D. right for you?
R.A.D.D. is a strong fit if:
You are an adult, and porn, gaming, gambling, or screen use is hurting your life.
You have tried to stop on your own, and it has not lasted.
You want privacy and can't put your life on pause for a treatment center.
You are ready to put in at least 12 weeks of real work.
Look somewhere else if:
You are a parent worried about a teen. See our A.L.E.R.T. family coaching (link the words to /alert).
You need a diagnosis or treatment for a mental health condition. Start with a licensed clinician. We are glad to work alongside them.
You are in crisis or thinking about hurting yourself. Call or text 988 in the US, or your local emergency number, right now. Coaching is not emergency care.
Are you ashamed of what you look at online?
Are your online habits a closely guarded secret?
Or are you a parent watching your child disappear into a screen, with no idea how to reach them anymore?
Have you felt the sting of losing a marriage or a relationship?
I've been exactly where you are.
I lived a double life for years. I was terrified that my family, my co-workers, and my church would find out.
I was terrified they would walk away.
I built R.A.D.D. as the program I wish I had had. It is private and practical (no losing time at work or school), and proven. It puts someone in your corner at 2 AM when those urges feel overwhelming.
If you have read this far, part of you is ready. Let's talk.
